Privacy Policy

Bespoke Luxe Travel is an independent luxury travel advisory business owned by Terri Buehler and affiliated with Uniglobe Travel Center, my host agency. Your trust matters to me. This policy explains, in plain English, what personal information I collect, how I use it, and the choices you have.

Information I Collect

I collect information you choose to share with me, including:

  • Contact details such as your name, email address, and phone number

  • Trip details such as travel dates, destinations, budget, and preferences

  • Traveler information needed to book, such as full legal names, dates of birth, passport details, dietary or medical needs, accessibility requests, and loyalty program numbers

  • Payment information, when needed to secure a booking

You may share this through my website contact form, my consultation form (hosted by Tern, a travel planning platform I use to manage itineraries and client records), email, phone, or text.

My website is hosted by Squarespace, which may automatically collect basic technical information such as your browser type, device, IP address, and pages visited. The site may use cookies and Google Analytics to help me understand how visitors use it so I can improve it. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings.

How I Use Your Information

I use your information to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and plan your travel

  • Make, manage, and support your bookings

  • Communicate with you before, during, and after your trip

  • Send travel news and offers, only if you have agreed to receive them

  • Keep business, legal, and tax records

  • Improve my website and services

How I Share Your Information

To book your travel, I must share relevant traveler details with the suppliers who provide your services. These may include cruise lines, hotels and resorts, tour operators, airlines, ground transportation providers, travel insurance companies, my host agency Uniglobe Travel Center (which processes bookings and commissions), and Virtuoso, a travel network available to me through Uniglobe (to arrange amenities and perks), as needed for your trip. Each supplier handles your information under its own privacy policy.

I also use trusted service providers to run my business, such as Squarespace (website), Tern (itinerary and client management), and email services. They may only use your information to provide services to me.

I may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of my clients or my business.

I do not sell or rent your personal information, and I never will.

Payments

Payments are generally processed directly by the travel suppliers, such as the cruise line or hotel, through their own secure systems. When I pass along payment details on your behalf, I do so only for that booking and do not store full card numbers longer than necessary.

Marketing Emails

I will only send you marketing emails or newsletters if you have given your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time by using the link in any email or by contacting me directly.

How Long I Keep Information

I keep your information for as long as needed to plan and support your travel, and afterward as required for legal, accounting, and tax purposes. When it is no longer needed, I delete it or store it securely.

How I Protect Your Information

I use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including secure platforms, password protection, and limiting access to what is needed for your booking. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so I encourage you to share sensitive details, such as passport or payment information, only through the secure methods I provide.

Children's Privacy

My website is not intended for children, and I do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. When minors are traveling, a parent or guardian provides their information so I can make the booking.

Your Rights and Choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you, or to stop receiving marketing communications. Please note that some information may need to be kept for legal or tax reasons, or to complete a booking already in progress. To make a request, simply email me.

California Residents

If you live in California, you may have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) to know what personal information I collect and how it is used and shared, to request its deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. I do not sell personal information. I will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Travelers in the EU and UK

If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, I process your information to perform our travel arrangements (contract), with your consent (for example, for marketing), or to meet legal obligations. Some suppliers may be located outside your country, including in the United States. You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also contact your local data protection authority.

Changes to This Policy

I may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
